A major importer of sunglasses needed to have a large shipment logistically moved from an origination port to Miami and then to Sarasota, Florida, with a very tight time frame. The client had made a sale to one of the largest retail chains of sunglasses in the U.S. The chain needed these glasses for a photo shoot on a specific date and there was no room for error. Armen made the arrangements and forwarded the shipment with time to spare. Since then, this importer will only trust its shipments to Armen Cargo.

How do you import an Indian elephant to the U.S.? The answer would normally be — you don't! But Armen was approached by a religious order that needed to have an Indian elephant brought into this country for its services. Despite the unlikelihood of this happening, Armen worked together with The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Agency, the ASPCA and other U.S. agencies to obtain the necessary permits. Quarantines had to be arranged for, due to hay from a foreign nation being brought in on the ship with the elephant. In the 11th hour, with elephant waiting to be offloaded, it was realized that one piece of paperwork was missing. Calls were quickly made and the required permit was traced to the driver who was arriving to take the elephant to its final home in W. Virginia. Today, this is believed to be one of the only Indian elephants ever brought in to the U.S. — delivered safe and sound by Armen Cargo.

When one of the most prestigious music institutes in this country needed to move its symphonic orchestra from the U.S. to Germany, it turned to Armen Cargo. Armen arranged for the shipment of over 125 valuable musical instruments overseas, planned the logistics of getting the cargo from the airport to the orchestra's various destinations once in Germany and then shipped everything back to the U.S. Also, Armen needed to liaison with a well known management company who was promoting this tour. All along the way, not one instrument was lost or damaged. And due to the unusual nature of shipping such large and cumbersome cargo, Armen won the approval of this management company to move future orchestras. Since then, Armen has been hired by a symphony orchestra in Germany to bring their cargo to the U.S. as well.

Importing and transporting perishable delicacies require a special experience. A major international airline needed to have Russian caviar for its 1st Class passengers. The shipment had to be brought from Germany to the airline's headquarters. Armen carefully and successfully arranged to have the delicate cargo shipped to the U.S. and delivered with no complications.

A famous watchmaker needed to entrust its valuable cargo to a company that could ship the most intricate, multiple movement watches with a worth of $6,000 to $10,000 a piece! Armen had the experience to handle this type of fragile cargo and was able to move the watches without a single problem.
